The MENSTRUAL COMFORT Elixir was created by a Naturopath and Herbalist with the desire to choose the plants that best respond to the discomforts during periods, such as menstrual pain that manifests itself in the lower abdomen, lower back, by cramps as well as by a feeling of heaviness. These plants bring warmth , softness , relaxation at the pelvis level and a feeling of overall well-being allowing you to better experience your periods. Having pain during your periods should not be normalized.
It is a mixture of plants that have antispasmodic ( calm cramps ), analgesic ( calm pain ), anti-inflammatory and emmenagogue properties (which help facilitate periods in order to relieve congestion in the pelvis and/or lower back).
The wisdom of plants in liquid form, more concentrated active components , subtle messages better transported and presented with or without alcohol. The plants are first macerated in alcohol , because it is the best substance to extract the active ingredients , but which is then removed at low temperature for the alcohol-free version.

- GINGER ( Zingiber officinale) : pain-relieving activity during menstruation (4), possible uterine and ovarian anti-inflammatory (5)
- DANDELION ( Taraxacum officinalis ): Dandelion root has indirect properties on PMS. Thanks to its choleretic properties, hepatic detoxification is supported and therefore hormonal balance (6). Stimulates the secretion/excretion functions at the liver and kidney level ( depurative/diuretic ) (7).
- RASPBERRY BUDS ( Rubus idaeus ): Tonic and antispasmodic for the uterus (8)

However, for those who prefer to avoid alcohol, we offer an alcohol-free version that uses vegetable glycerin for preservation. Although the manufacturing process is slightly different, this does not affect the effectiveness of the product.
