Her journey
Angelica trained both in the medical field and in natural therapies: naturopathy and herbalism. This dual experience quickly showed her the gap between these two worlds, and the lack of bridges for women looking for reliable information about their bodies.
For five years, she worked as a naturopath in Paris, in daily contact with women facing painful periods, irregular cycles, fertility difficulties or menopause. As a mother of twins, she also experienced first-hand something she kept seeing: women's intimate health is still a taboo subject, and many women feel alone with their pain and their doubts.
Why Curanderas
Angelica founded Curanderas to create a space of trust, knowledge-sharing and care. The laboratory, based in Haute-Garonne in the south of France, develops food supplements made from organic medicinal plants, 80% of which are sourced in France, directly from cooperatives and independent growers.
She formulates the products herself, driven by one conviction: combining nature and science to help every woman reconnect with her body, her cycles and her health, in a more autonomous and mindful way. It is in this spirit that she created the Curanderas hormonal assessment.
What she shares here
On the blog, Angelica writes about the topics she supports women with every day:
- the menstrual cycle and hormonal imbalances;
- PCOS and endometriosis;
- perimenopause and menopause;
- fertility, pregnancy and postpartum;
- libido, stress and sleep.
She also passes on her approach to health and wellness professionals, through training sessions covering topics such as reading the cycle, hormonal acne, natural fertility and postpartum.
Information, not a diagnosis
Angelica's articles are intended to inform and support. They do not replace a medical consultation: if you have pain, persistent symptoms or any doubt, talk to your doctor or gynaecologist.
